Where does a carbon footprint first show itself, and how can we create a carbon conscious design practice? In an effort to answer these questions, the HUSH team created a procedural design tool that both challenges architects to consider the embodied carbon footprint of their work and creates alternatives paths forward. The film, Material Stories, documents the process of creation and poses another question, “How might we apply this kind of design to the world around us?”
